Deposits

You can pay money into your savings account, or reduce your loan:

• at our three main credit union branches (Sydenham, The Green Man and Bromley)
• by standing order from your bank account or Engage Current Account
• by transfer direct from your wages, pension or benefit
• by debit card - by logging into the Members Area and clicking on 'Make a Payment'.

The minimum payment size is £10 and the maximum is £5,000 in any one transaction and you can split the total payment between a maximum of five accounts in your name, including savings accounts and loans.

Please note that credit card payments cannot be accepted.

Withdrawals

Members can withdraw their credit union savings provided they are not pledged as security for a loan and there are no loan arrears.

Withdrawals from savings accounts can be made by:

• Faster Payment to your Engage Current Account or to another bank account in the UK. These are typically same day, as long as we have received your instruction before 1.30pm (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays).
• The easiest way to authorise a transfer from your savings to a Engage Current Account, Engage card or other bank account is by using our Members' Area online, or our automated telephone banking service (020 8778 4738 Option 1).
• A cheque can be collected from one of our branches
• An automatic load from income can be made into a Engage Current Account or an Engage pre-paid card, both giving you access to ATMs and cashback facilities from retailers (for Visa Debit)
• Cash up to £100 collected from The Green Man or Bromley branch
• Cash up to £500 collected from Sydenham branch
